i had this version by jojo ages ago and i actually only heard of charice today (im in new zealand). i really like the song so unless someone slaughters it, i will still love the song, regardless of who sings it. people always cover other peoples songs, its nothing new. most songs these days sample older songs. its a compliment

True but the person who wrote the song obviously expected it to do better than Jojo's version or she would not have given it to Charice, who put it on the charts.

charice's version is now a billboard hit which jojo failed to achieve.
