It's ok people in DC really don't know how to use an escalator too.

People walk through on escalators? You must have wider escalators than we do. There's no room for more than one person on the ones I see usually.

I actually didn't know escalator rules before the internet. I feel like it's not as big of a thing on this coast? Possibly I'm just clueless.

But, in general, people not being aware of their surrounds? Totes agree.
