Don't you dare try and tell me this was NOT a generic music/song sound during the 80s. You can't tell me there isn't a single other song made that sounds just like this. Just because it doesn't sound like whatever current artist you are going to compare doesn't mean it was a unique song when it came out. If you can trace a song back to it's era by the general sound, it isn't all that original. Great song. More important theme than anything today for sure, but all eras have a mainstream.
