I've loved the Moody Blues forever and was really impressed by this Graeme Edge composition. It was mainly the other four guys who did all the writing (except for the intros and poems) but this is such a great song" Kudos Graeme!
@pantpooer Yes, it's a wonderful ending to a great song. Normally I don't care for modulations near the end but it works here, the idea of love triumphing over sadness (or something like that). As a more mature band they pulled it off beautifully.
Just a great song, just love the instrumental solo (claranet solo etc)

They played this live on the tour, an unexpected treat! How often do you get to see Graeme sing? I wish I had a video camera back then!

As a Keyboardist, this song has my favorite solo of all time.
I just love Patrick's choice of synths & textures.
Always was a big fan of his!

This song, then 'wildest dreams', then "I know you're out there somewhere' - it's like a trilogy - the bard searching for his muse.
