In my book, scientists don't kill animals to demonstrate how their opponents fail at science. @TRMerc As for "invention of DC", Edison was known for stealing concepts of others around him. Perfect example is the rivalry with Nikola Tesla. Propagandistic shit and media crap have made Edison a highly reputable person, outrageously reputable in the U.S. while someone who opened a way to all that we're using today (cellphones, high frequency e.power, transiting etc) only posses a couple of significations which are highly dear to the minority of people.
