I agree that Folklore is terribly underrated. All my friends who are regular gamers wax lyrical about the storyline and symbolism behind Silent Hill and others, but Folklore excels. Someone should definitely make a feature film of it - at least it would give it some more publicity.

ok, been thinking of giving it another try but I'm afraid that I'll get bored of it again, how many "chapters" in do I need to play before I can stop doing everything twice (I was playing the game, like, I played 1 chapter with Keats then 1 chapter with Ellen and so on)

Do it with 1 character 1st (I sugest Ellen), and then do it with Keats. While the 1st chapter seems similar for both of them, they really start to get different later on.

Don't get me wrong the game was more or less the reason I went for a playstation instead of Xbox.

However some things really irk me.

a) code bugs when Keats gets all super duper the screen freezes for a while.

b) you have to play the same chapter with Keats and Ellen they could've easily created different realms for the characters or at least modify the same realm.

c) A bit more animated cut scenes with voice acting would be nice.

Hmm... Well, it depends on your tastes... there are a LOT of more story driven games on the PS3, as well as a few good multi-platform games. If you really like the music in Folklore though, you might want to check out the little downloadable title "Linger in shadows" it's got the same dark-fantasy feeling to it, and the art in the game is remarkable! (only $3 on the Playstation Store)

find a folk that makes his id pop out (I think it's bargest) and keep attacking him with that. Stay out of the water and only go in to attack or the vine things will get you. and make sure you have your shield ready so you don't get hurt by his big tentacle things. When the flower comes out use your shield to stop the seeds it throws from hitting you and use boobrie for ellen, or hinky punk for keats.
