@dahornor Yes on this recording I was running the guitar through a "Umble" preamp that I built a number of years ago, just to get some overdrive. I listed the Umble in the credits on the vid. The power amp just by itself is almost too clean. Yesterday I designed my own preamp section, it sounds great and has a tone of volume boost & overdrive, and I redesigned the circuit board so that it now includes both the preamp and power amp circuitry, and so the kit will have everything you need.
@dahornor Thanks. YES I am going to make a build-it-yourself kit of this little practice amplifier I have had too many things going on but this is the next thing on my list. If you subscribe, I am going to send out a notice of it soon or check my web site listed above.
@guitarkitbuilder Thanks for listening brother, glad ya like it. I will be making this into a The Fillmore Pedal Company product soon I am tweaking a preamp section I am working on. Before I productize this little amp I want to beat the crap out of it to make sure it is industrial strength. So far so good I have been using it over a week and not fried it yet (!) haha. I had to reformat a hard drive on my recording studio so down for a day, suggest you subscribe more demos on the way Bill
lol awesome! looks like a stompbox! really nice sound from such a small amp. you should definitely add a tone control to brighten the tone though. are you going to offer this on your site? i'd buy one!
@oxidindigo Thanks! I am going to work on a pre-amp stage with a tone control. To keep it simple I might have a 1 knob tone control, two at the most. As you can see it is a small case. I am toying with the idea of making this a commercial product on my website, I just need to tinker with it a bit.
This makes absolutely no sense to me, but it sounds awesome, so therefore, I like to pretend I am a wizard at things like this.

Very nice! Are you still thinking about producing a kit for these, or posting a schematic?

Nice sustain! Will you post the circuit somewhere or is this a product you'll be offering?
