Heard this song for the first time when I had only known Leslie for a few weeks (sigh... I always find it hard to believe that Leslie was alive my whole life and I didn't know it until he had been gone for almost a year and a half)... a friend recorded a compilation cd for me and this song was on it... it was one of my faves.. I'm glad I heard it this way because I could enjoy it more with not knowing it was his last song.
Ah but when your English and don't understand what is said... well then you just listen to the music and the sound of Leslie's lovely voice...then it is a wonderful 'sounding' song. I didn't find a translation to the lyrics for many months... when I did I too thought they were sad... but I only read them the once as I prefare to hear this song without remembering them, that way the only sad thing for me is that it was Leslie's last song and that is the true sadness.
Is this song from Leslie's last album 'Everything Follows the Wind'(Yat Chai Chui Fung)? The song Love of Glass (Boh Lei Jee Ching) is said to be Leslie's last work. Or is it this song? Please clarify. Thanks.
