I played the demo and it was great. I like it, I wanna buy this game. I kind of think there are some aspects that are better than CoD4, however CoD4 is still better.

cod 4 and cod waw are basically the same the ony difference is that Waw is more brutal but the gun sounds are shitty and it takes place in the past and the zombies everything else is the same!

I think a big difference is that Cod4 takes place in modern time, and Waw takes place in the cliche world war II, so I think Cod4 is better in the fact that the timeline is not cliche

I Think the story for world at war is better then any other cod but i think the cod 4 multiplayer is a tad better

it depends on what style of game you want to play, even though they are both call of duty games, there is a huge difference between fighting in world war II and fighting in modern combat, i would recommend trying both of them and see which one you like more, p.s. they are both very good

I haven't played COD5 yet, but COD4 is awesome. From the look of things, it's basically what style of weapons you wanna fight with. I personally like the present weapons on COD4.

This should be the last COD game that takes place in WWII. WaW should be theswan song for the WWII genre because it wasnt horrendous. Honestly if COD sticks with the WWII genre I won't be buying it. Reasons being im tired of the same weapons! that was a positive on COD4s part! In my opinion the COD franchise should work with the Vietnam era. The reasoning being the war in Vietnam had a whole bunch of different weapons.

(Also I would LOVE a cowboys & indians COD)

good review Samuel i think that cod4 wasnt a "real" call of duty game and that is why it sold so well. cod: waw is more like mastering your weapons and usinbg them according to yuor strengths this is what the series is all about and has done well until cod4 came along with no recoil. Mosty people now hate the game because it goes back to ww2 IMO thats a shit reason and stop buying call of duty games cuz ww2 is where the cod series was born and where it should stay.

Sam, I agree with you, the nazi zombie mode is amazing. The campaign is also brilliantly done and the story line is great. but I think that the online aspect of the game is good if CoD4 never came out. They have identical online feels, the engine is the same like you mentioned, which makes me believe a lack in originality, and they kept the same shit perks, like you mentioned, the noob tube, also juggernaut and martydom. i also dont like the guns, they are too "kick-backy". Also the tanks suck.
