A whale is NOT hit with a big hook, since new rules have been made, and those hooks are now illegal.
It takes 30 seconds AT MOST till the whale dies. Not by bleeding to death, but because the cuts are placed on fatal areas, and thus killing the whales as fast as possible.
Also, look at the map. Faroe Islands is not in Denmark. Faroe Islands is north from The UK.

2. Yes, we could eat cows, but a cow produces 100(Some say 500, but that just makes it worse.) liters methane a day, that's about as much as a car. So eating cows would force us to breed more cows, which would give more methane, which destroys the environment.

Why pay for having someone kill a pig, and then prepare it for you, when you can kill a whale, and then prepare it yourself?

It's sad... to see that this 'threatened' species gets killed 'just for fun'. Check your facts: iucn red list -> the pilot whale might be threatened by SONAR and SQUID FISHERY and is listed as data deficient. If you check the video: they preserve the meat after catching them, so it's for the meat, not for the fun of it.

First of all we dont kill the whales to proof our maturity. we kill them because it is what we have been doing for 100 of years. it is out traditon. and the meat taist good as well. secend the whales dies in like 5 sec.. so they do not feel pain very long.
