  • Comment removed

  • it's not much different from working in burger king

  • amazing! i think you should have put some scenes from police story though

  • wonderful

  • kunf fu forever

  • @EMINEMRose1995

    Dude, learn to spell it.

    Kung Fu, or Gung Fu.

  • Este hombre es impresionante... qué pedazo de profesional!!!!!

  • not only did he invent it, he did it kicking peoples ass

  • this is from a movie called Dragon's forever?

  • @DrXoz The part that is in a factory, near the beggining.

  • We humans have always done parkour in the form of running, jumping, climbing, etc. David Belle gave it a name and refined it.

What Jackie's doing here is parkour as well. Except it's not as efficient as David's.

  • muy bienn

  • at 0:26 it isn't Jackie Chan but Yuen Biao. Good friend of Jackie. Playing in the same movie.

  • @TheProductionsDNN then friend?? who is in 1:08?? the one who is smoking ?/ is it also a friend of jackie??

  • @mattskywalker18

Don't know. I do know the movie Dragons Forever.

But at 0:26 it's surely not jackie but Yuen Biao.

  • @TheProductionsDNN i mean who is that guy smoking at 1:08?// that ..old man

  • @mattskywalker18 that guy is Yuen Hwa, which i believe that he is from the same opera school as Jackie, Yuen Biao and Sammo..

  • @Carlos9994 ah really.. yuen biao is the other one.. right?? who jumped backwards against the enemy//

    wow!!!

  • @mattskywalker18 then who is sammo>>?

  • @mattskywalker18 Sammo is barely seen here, is the fat guy in the floor at 0:38 with a white shirt. But search for his videos and see him in movement. :-)

  • @mattskywalker18 yuen biao is the one in black shirt, the one which jumped through the window.. and yuen hwa is the smoking one.. the can do all this as they learnt all this from the opera school XD

  • @mattskywalker18

Oh i don't know for sure, the credits in the end of the movie are in Chinese, but Wikipedia is your friend.... xD

Searched it, and it is Yuen Wah.

  • good vid

  • 00:55 very difficult , jumping backwards

  • I wonder what Jackie Chan ran in the 40 in his younger days. He ran across the pool like a cat

  • Some of that isn't Jackie at all, it's Yuen Biao.

  • the best thing is koala

  • Obviously Jackie wasn't the first guy to run around jumping across buildings and clearing obstacles but he was clearly the best. this is a guy that jumped off a cliff and landed on top of a hot air balloon

  • ta bueno el video men pero mira aqui te va el mio..

el link del video es: youtube.com/watch?v=8RgfO4Ecqzo

  • How i wish there will be a movie Jackie Chan and David Belle together

  • what movie is at 1:47? Thanks> :D

  • @brazwen Thunderbolt

  • "Thunderbolt"

  • i don't think you can say jackie chan invented it cause free running or "martial arts stunts" were done even before he was born...

I mean acrobatic martial arts is what ninja's were trained to do...

I think as long as martial arts has been alive so has free running..

    but just my opinion...

  • this music is not suitable....make me sleep...jackie chan cool.

  • wat really amazes me is dat he wears formal attire or plain civilian clothes wen he does these stunts and good choreo

  • amazing

    the best of the best

  • god damn is he badass or what

  • jackie chan is such a flippin ninja!

  • francia? david bell? el parkour que quede muy claro fue creado por este señor.incluso jackie chan inspiro a muchos que hoy son considerados los mejores.

  • Can anybody tell whats the name of the music on this video???? Please!! Thank You.

  • small thing is parkour has no flips.. not complaining just putting it out there =3

  • I learned parkour from jackie chan's movies before I even knew "parkour" existed. He's always been my idol (H).

  • @gnredbull i did the same. hehe

  • 3:49 remember trying that as a kid :D haha .. Jackie Chan forever :)

  • wie nennt sich der track ... =??

  • After the wold "Parkour" was invented , there will be more and more people be "another Jackie Chan"

  • 2:06 his most epic move

  • David belle basically took jackie chans style of movements and made a name. Jackie chan was inspired by physical actors like buster keaton etc but jc was the one who took the true form of parkour which Belle just expanded on to make modern parkour.

  • When David Belle and Sebastian Foucan were 4 years old, Jackie was already doing parkour-style stunts they haven't topped to this day.

  • I like this song anyways, and the editing and ending shot were sick

  • hahha some of it isnt jackie chan xD

  • he is AWESOME!!!

  • pleace what is the name of this song

  • Hey look its jackie chan

Hey look it malcolm in middle

  • @youraznbuddy No I'm not... YES YOU ARE!

  • what is the name of the song I like is perfect for parkour training

  • Comment removed

  • lets just say that

THE parkour freerunning ninjitsu or what ever that is!

    WE human being invent it.

  • David Belle gave parkour a name, made it a real method of training with a philosophy behind it.. But no one invented the MOVEMENTS in parkour. They've always been there and the human being have used it for a long time

  • el quedio inicios al parkour fue jackie chan lo hacia desde los anos 80 solo lo siguio david belle

  • super scampering powers activate.

  • 1.05 would have SUCKED for his back.

  • Hang on hang on, so Jackie Chan was the first person to do parkour? Or were the french just the people who made it into a disipline? I'm confused, I'm not sure who to believe. Can someone please tell me who created parkour. I'm really interested in knowing who the actual founder is.

  • @pootustangus no one was the first, parkour has always been about it is the art of movement.... it has become recognised through different routes i belive the french david belle sabastian faucan really started it off, jackie chan is just soo talented that he can put it into his martial art

  • @RevurbRecords I don't really care who the founder is anymore. I'm sick of hearing the stupid arguments about who founded it first and about how parkour and freerunning are completely different arts. I think parkour and freerunning are just pure, raw movement expressed however you want. Through tricks or speed or fluidity. Just self expression through movement.

Thankyou for your opinion:) I found it very interesting.

  • @pootustangus i wasn't arguein u asked a question i said what i thought. as i said its always been here

  • @RevurbRecords I know mate, i was meaning you. I think your view of parkour is very open and insiteful. I respect that:)

  • @pootustangus :) but what really matters is that it is the best "sport" :P xD

  • ASIANS ARE BADASS

  • david belle create the names for the moves and also invent some really cool and fast maneuvers.

  • You know Jackie Chan does all his stunts himself and his fights/freerunning is all done by himself, no fake shit.

  • This is not Parkour!!! This is Kung Fu! David Belle is just a spin off! David Belle is a thief!! Parkour is just Kung Fu!

  • @GuardianArt lol so true jackie chan did it first

  • @GuardianArt i don't think so... parkour focus on the flight, while kung fu is mainly on fight. but this is badass nonetheless.

  • man he's goooood....

  • yeahh!!! xddd toma

  • Parkour and Free Running

  • Great stuff, and there's a lot more he's done that you didn't show. (eg: the train station scene in "Mr. Nice Guy", or the gate-climb in "Operation Condor", etc, etc.) Thanks for posting.

  • the original badass. i think he has broken most of the bones in his body at least once from doing all his own stunts, but that just makes him even more kickass

  • what movies?

  • Jackie Chan and his crew invented Parkour, others only gave it a special name.

  • david belle.

  • @skwon85 agree!!

  • The true parkour master. David Belle and his crew stole all of those moves and just gave it a fancy name. Jackie is brilliant!!

  • Leave it to the white man to take an Asian thing, rename it, and try to market it as something they created. Like Bruce Lee's "Jeet Kune Do". Now they call it "MMA". I guess this way they don't have to pay the true inventors any money. And continue to leave behind their "stolen legacy".

  • @Wardfolio As far as I know Jeet Kune Do is different from MMA. And you may be right but there no racism here, it's just that whoever comes up with a name for a product, can market it.

  • It's funny to have a modern term like "Parkour" applied to Jackie Chan. It's not really appropriate.

Either way, it's a great highlight vid.

0:26-0:45 is Yuen Biao, Jackie's Peking Opera Brother, who is extremely talented.

The guy with the glasses, suit, and cigar was another of the Peking Opera brothers, Yuen Wah, a legend in his own right.

  • he does parkour while fighting whatta legend :),

  • Some Parts Of The Vid Are Jackie Chan Others Are Not

  • i love 2:39, its like I can walk on water bitches!

  • lol i love how its all real and not cg and yet cg is still more eye catching... sigh... still amazing thought stupid ppl lost in cg land will never know the awesomeness.

  • Name's of all the movies please =D

  • which movies are this ???

  • jap 5 stars :)

  • I like it

  • jackie is the best

  • i think kung fu is better than parkour just because when you learn kung fu you learn a martial art and parkour but parkour is cool although

  • yo...what is the difference?

  • aula.

  • aaa legebnda de verdad el mejor de el mundo bueno de los mejores

  • lots of underbars and kash vaults

  • 0:36 0:25 yuien bieo incase you havent noticed

  • Damn I really really want to be like Jackie Chan..

  • Jackie Chan omg he can parkour even in suits XD

  • Not Being Funny, But It Wouldn't Be Hard Would It?

  • im just saying, hes like wearing alot of clothes and hes still parkouring and with alot of stamia at that age, gotta give him credit xD

  • im a true fan of jackie, dude he inspired me. so much.

  • Was the movie Jackie Chan's first strike?

  • parkour,umení Jacky Chan

  • parkour + martial arts = Jackie Chan

  • jackie is the best !!!

  • Jackie Chan made it . David Belle named it . Le Parkour

  • Before everyone started calling it Parkour i always called it "Jackie Channing" ... still "Jackie Channing" in my book

  • That's good 1:41.

  • Yeah!!! Jackie!!! ;D well he's my favorite actor :)

  • he is very good but how can he do all these tricks i know he real

    Anyway he is very good

  • 1: 49 WOOOOOOW

i think jackie chan is the true inventor of parkour. i admire jackie chan the same i admire david belle. i dont know wich one is better, but i know that because of them i train everyday

  • finaly a great comment !!! the same for me You cant stop training parkour ,,it feel so good () not when you fail aouch!

  • @LINKchris87 si jackie chan es la ley tambien david belle pero los dos se dan duro

  • i changed music coz copyright ....

  • Can't you change it to a more upbeat tune?

  • 3:00 what movie is that? 3:28, show off...

  • first strike

  • jackie chan is number1 in all over the world.....because he is not fake...

  • in my opinion jackie chan is the true inventor of parkour

  • @rammah83 no one 'invented' parkour, parkour is the art of movement from A to B as fast and efficiently as possible, it's been around since man could walk and run as a method of catching or escaping a situation :D

  • @rammah83 No georges herbert was and before him the people who moved with the land. That was the whole idea of "Method Naturalle".

  • You're wrong, jackie chan is doing all he's stunt for real, without helplines etc... i've readed alot about him.. If he had helplines then wouldnt he've broken nearly every single bones in his body =)

  • yep, his stunts are totally real:) that's what made him famous;)

  • @ninjakick1983 He didn't say they're unreal. He's just saying they're rehearsed and choreographed. But again, most parkour videos are.

Pure parkour was meant to be training for spontaneity.

  • AWESOME VID man. Thank you so much.

For me Jackie Chan invented the "art of movement" called nowdays "parkour" or "free running"... David Belle just developped it as a sport. But just look at the movements Jackie is doing on all of his old films, they are exactly the same as the movements traceurs use...

You Still think he is not the "creator" after that ?? This man is just so great !

  • right on bro. J.C. brought parkour into the game. when you see it done in movies these days, you gotta recognise that J.C. was the innovator aka the pioneer of parkour.

  • umm... yea... what about Douglas Fairbanks? go watch the mask of zorro featuring Douglas Fairbanks here in youtube. the movie was made in 1920 and he parkours all the time at the vid

  • Parkour is not a verb. Thankyou.

  • parkour is a verb if we want it to be one thank u

  • no it isn't, you can misuse it as such, but that will not make it so.

  • in english evrythings possible

  • which is the song and the player?

  • The prodigy (artist)

    firestarter (song)

  • I respect him cause when he was doing those movies he was rich already , he didnt had to do all those dangerous things (like the one with broken glass in window),i wouldnt if i would have so much money i would be afraid,he really like what hes doing.

  • That's right man. Should point out the guy doing the broken glass thing is actually Yuen Biao, but still, Jackie's done his fair share of mad stunts to get where he is today. :)

  • Thanks i didnt knew , Yes he deserves his money in my opinion , i would never do most of his stunts , like the one with the chopper or falling from tower.

  • jackie chan at his prime

  • legend superman batman

  • tell me Jackie didn't influence and inspire a whole generation of parkour enyhusiasts.

  • In this footage, you also got to see Yuan Biao and Yuan Wah doing their fair share of parkour. And, actually among the opera brothers of Jackie, Yuan Biao is considered the most acrobatic, who is able to pull some really good moves with rather effortless execution. Yuan Wah was a double for Bruce Lee for flips and some acrobatic movements.

  • very nice compilation! but no mention to yuen biao! hm... thanks for posting this.

  • wow thats pretty good, it dont look like jackie chan though.......mayby it was when he was alot younger......good work though jackie!

  • this wat we call the real parkour

  • the first one discover the parkour is jacke chan not "yamakazi" or bavid bell or somone else and if you want to belive it try to watch some of his old movies and you will get the prove.. so in generale the parkour is already in china 's cultur " sami "

  • his flo is more than impressive

  • Jackie way to go!

  • Hostias que guapo xDDD
