I wish Piper, Hart & Kabuki were still around today as they were back then.
I'd like to see Kabuki blow that Asian Mist in the 'Undertakers' face.Wrestlers today are so into the steroids look it's actually pathetic.Long live Manager Mr. Gary Hart an eternal wrestlng legend.
Yes, he makes the save against Don Muraco in September '82. And no, wrestlers never attacked announcers back then so it made it have even more impact.
After the altercation between Dusty Rhodes & Kabuki, Tommy Rich was put in against Ric Flair. He pinned Flair & ran off with the belt. Officials disallowed the switch because Tommy did not sign a contract to face Flair that night. In the other match, Dusty painted his face like Kabuki to get inside his head. This was also the beginning of the Armstrong-Piper feud, also.
I, too, miss vintage or "old school" wrestling! Thank God for youtube! NOW, I can watch the "old school" matches and interviews WITHOUT the commercial breaks!
Looked like Dusty was dressed like his son's future persona 'Goldust" there.

Didn't Piper save Solie from being attacked by someone at one point? Did heels attack announcers back then?

After KABUKI tpit that green mist at DUSTY
RHODES,it looked like STAN HANSEN
was one of the two WRESTLERS that
had come to the ring to help DUSTY.
The other was BIG RED.

Gary Hart was a class act.He was the only heel manager that always talked respectful of his foes.
