It's a sexy car, but I went with a Toyta Yaris because it beats the Fiat in every important category in my book: MPG/Reliability/Storage Space/Passanger Space/Price. I wouldn't mind driving someone else's Fiat 500 though. :-)
i like this car but i dont know about the reliability since this car is made in mexico and with fiat owning chrysler it might be a recipe for disaster. fiat cars of the past have not been very reliable at all
The Fiat 500 has a lot going for it. Cute, economical and yet practical well for the couple and small family. The only drawback is that tiny rear seat. Otherwise, if i did not have my Smart which i love now, id go for this package once it has proven itself here in the US for a time. I saw a lot of these at a local dealer and now they have a half inventory of the Fiat and the other half used cars. Now if only id see one on the road.....
Test drove one of these a couple days ago (Sport with 5-speed). I was impressed, but the dealer charged over $2,000 MSRP. Do they really think I'm an idiot? lol
$20 grand with no leather or sunroof? Um, no.
But a sport w/5-speed for about $18k? That would be much better.

Looks cute, instead of buying a scooter you buy this car and if you hate somebody let him/her sit in the rear seat.
