  • thanks for showing us this great new tool

  • Macbook Air for free at Macbook7. com. You're lucky! good video...

  • You can win Macbook Air at Macbook7. com. You're lucky! amazing video...

  • Haha "I can't rotate the internet"

  • how much is the mac book

  • lol..

  • I can hear Mary J. Blige in the background :)

  • WOAH!! double tap and drag... you cant do that with just about every other laptop ever

  • no you cant

  • you mean double tap and hold on the second tap on the touch mouse pad to drag stuff? i can do that on my toshiba... hardly a cool and unusual feature

  • @degez123 hahahaha damn that was funny all of the computers can do that xD

  • WOAH!! double tap and drag... you cant do that with just about every other laptop ever

  • macbook air, not impressing.

    to me anyway.

  • its crap performance for the price you pay, i suppose its good if you want to pay 3000 to write a letter

  • Actually, it's more powerful than comparable systems. Most lightweights come in at 1-1.2GHz processors, and none of the other lightweights come with any GFX greater than the integrated X3100. I've used this thing, and it feels as fast as my older 2GHz Core Duo macbook.

  • for 3000 pounds i could self build a extremely fast computer lol

  • 3,000 GBP? That's over 5 to almost 6,000 USD isn't it? No way is it that much there.

Also, you could build a powerful computer for way less than $3,000, but you'd have a hard time building a laptop with a thin aluminum casing and have specific components to fit the way it does in a home-brew method cheaply. Laptops are harder to build for less money.

  • lol mac probably buy the casing for $2 each laptop from wholesale price

  • They'd get the cases cheaper from the manufacturer direct, but you won't find components like the thin machined aluminum case and the miniature logicboard and other components to fit properly together cheaply for a single unit through any regular retail channels.

  • probably not, o well i cant afford one =[

  • Eh. The Macbook's better anyway.

  • While it's not really a useful system for me, after actually using one, I can see how others would love it.

I'm still likin' my 2 year old Macbook though. When I get a new system, it will be an MBP, not an Air.

  • i agree with you

  • can you put a disk in it?... no

  • is it true that if you touch tle lef side of the screen the windows changes?

es verdad qui si tocas el lateral de la paantalla canvia la pantalla por otra minimizada?

  • try searching for the tapbook

    that's what you're after - just a program

  • I would love to see this on a MBP. The MBA is nice and all, but, sacrificing HD, CPU and an optical drive for space doesn't seem like a major trade for me. I have a MB right now, but I'm planning on going into computer science as a career, and the air just ain't powerful enough

  • I just graduated from Computer Science and I'd suggest you rethink what you use your computer for. Computer Science isn't very CPU/Memory intensive.

Pro/Con for CSCI: Pro: Portability Con: Screen Resolution Pro: Battery will last 2 classes+

1280x800 will work for CSCI, but I always wanted more.

I used a Macbook(Core1 duo 2Ghz, 2GB) for undergrad and I can only think of two classes that taxed it:

Systems Architecture - Several virtualized Computers

    Game Programming - GMA950 Stinks

  • i thought Apple was all about making everything convinient and its all fine and dandy that you can use the 'multitouch', why would i want an external dvd drive, its jus not convinient or convincing me. Sorry Apple, you let me down this time

  • the inconvenience of not having a DVD drive makes it annoying

  • thats beet

  • so im gonna pay $2000 ju8st so i can twist the internet and pics? LOL

  • It's going to come to the MacBook and MacBook Pro.

  • good computer but whats weak is that you cant put cds in.

  • OMG ITS A TINY LAPTOP!!! fuck you macfags

  • I think they may have a new one around back to school time. So if you want one, you can still save up any way.

  • "there's not really any point in rotating the internet" xDD

  • they re not gonna make a new one for a while morphmotionpicutures

  • how the hell would you know hopohop?

  • look at the iPod, as soon as you'd bought the newest and best, before you could get it out of its box a new and improved version came out

  • wow APPLE NUMBER ONE

  • I want one!

  • two fingers like a player. 0_-

  • Best computer out there

  • cool!

  • "its not really appropriate to rotate the internet"

  • thats amazing !!!

  • I wish this functionality will be available on current macbooks too.

  • yeah me too, i like the website scrolling

  • you can already do this on curren macbooks!

the only things you can't do is pinch, rotate and swipe.

  • Yeah it's been on powerbooks and MBPs for years.

  • yes...the scrolling function. not any of the other, cooler, features it offers.

  • That's what I'm waiting for, of course.

  • "you can't rotate the internet"

    nice
