  • @techskills.......I have a Dell comprising of 2 slots & recently bought a memory module. However when I opened the CPU unit low & behold the second slot left clip is wedge behind the green board that was suppose to be position behind the clip. Called Dell for assistance, my Computer is out of warranty, & was told to remove the current module from the first slot and put the new module (1G) there. Do you know how to unwedge the clip behind the green panel? In essence I only have 1 operable slot.

  • some uses screwdriver

  • Hi, does all motherboard fit in any case? I have an Xion case.

  • @uphill248 nope, unfortunately. there are 2 main types of motherboard size (form-factor) : microATX and standard ATX. my case is big enough to fit an atx motherboard which i have one installed. ive just looked at pictures of your case and it looks like its standard ATX form factor. oh and by the way standard ATX is the biggest size of motherboard for a normal computer. so your case should fit any motherboard size :)

  • Tahnk you so f****** much! I have the second computer you showed. For days I have been trying to figure out how to take off the side panel. Even using a screwdriver.... bad idea. And all I had to do was push down on a buttom and the side panel comes right off lol. Go figure just my luck. Thanks!

  • Talk about Ol Reliable. What an old piece of machinery.

  • Really nice video.I finally figured out how to open my side panel today.Apparently my computer case was more of a mix of a tooless case and the majority of the types.

  • Power supply

  • is it okay to have on open computer case? like to have the side pannle off the computer and leaving it off? if its bad please message me telling me that it is and why, if not please message me telling me its okay

  • It is OK for short periods of time. You would not want to run it with the side panel off as the computer may overheat because it may not circulate cool air properly.

  • @TechSkillsVideos yeah right
