@ianography yeah man my mini qj sucks, it turns like crap, even after i lubed it, locks up every 2 turns and i don;'t even want to talk about the inner layers. i don't know if its bad luck or not, but the one they displaced in the shop turns pretty smooth, but the one i got that is brand new turns like crap.

what is the perfect tensino for this cube? uz mine is to loose or to tight set...

it's not really possible to set the tension with this cube because there's no screws to tighten or loosen. other than lubing it to make it smoother, it is what is it.

I love the size of this cube too, even though I have big hands. You can finger trick a whole lot easier.

its the exact same as the mini except instead of being eastsheen sized it's rubik's sized. so every thing i say about the mini is the same for the regular one

i have never used a mefferts 4x4 but I have heard that it is good. but i also know that it is the same size as the rubiks 4x4. Since i do not like that size of cube i would have to say that the qj is better because it is smaller, but again, i have never used a mefferts.

What about the tiled QJ 4x4 cube ? do you recommend it ? I have not buy any of QJ products, but had new Rubiks 4x4 (very bad, very stiff) and new Rubiks 5x5(moderate) . So I watched over 20-30 videos about those 4x4 and 5x5 other than rubiks and need some recommendations. Thanks in advance.

the thing with this cube is it does pop when it wears out... trust me.. but it is good if u have good control on your rotations

they're about the same. you really have to try both. i like th qj a little better because im sloppy when i solve and i need a cube that doesn't lock up as much (requires less precision). but the eastsheen is super fast. try both if you can or just pick one. they're both great.

@MrCubefreak Its smmoth as heck, a QJ, is just a copy of the Mefferts, (hint: Copies arent always as good much less better) I dont personally own a QJ, but I say that yes, they are about the same, but I would personally go with the meffferts its the same size as an actual rubiks 4x4, and a mini QJ is the size of an eastsheen, its really just the size that matters.

I think that mini's are better. They both probably perform the same I just think there is no reason to have such a huge 4x4 if you can have a smaller one.

I recently got my mini qj 4x4 and I noticed that it came pre-lubed. It was stiff at first, but after about a day of use, it broke in very nicely. I did not lube it at all because It makes the cube feel more "loose". I would recommend to not lube this cube because it is more stable if you just break it in and use the lube it comes with.
