  • Hasselbeck's analysis is off; however, she is right in that sexual orientation is somewhat more fluid in women than in men. There could be several reasons for this, grandmother culture (in humans, not seen in chimpanzees), maybe it's cultural, maybe...who knows. I'm not saying that women choose to be gay later in their life, but because of genetic/brain chemistry/hormones, in some women there are orientation shifts during different periods over the course of some women's lives.

  • 1 Corinthians 6:9-10...Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God."

  • David, the same distain you feel toward Hasselback, is the same distain that we feel toward you.

  • IF ELIZABETH got the job because she is hot doesn't make sense because the rest of "the view" are dogs.

  • @jahjirahcooper Actually no, she got the job because she is the only conservative thats to stupid to win an arguement against all the View's libs

  • Love the analysis of Elisabeth Hasselbeck's "analysis." Acerbic but kind.

  • its considerd cool or hip to be gay today stop lying. fags arent hated

  • @tonykeywest08 The fact that you actually used the words "cool" and "hip" is proof that you think being gay is just a fad that people choose. You are as ignorant as the pretty blond dunce on the view.

Gay people are still hated by a lot of people. They are just too ashamed to say so now days because they know society has moved on without them. Its really pathetic.

  • I agree with your comment re:Hasselbeck. It is a pity for anyone to be that ignorant. In regards to the struggle for gay equality, I find myself becoming angrier at the people who aren't anti-gay but are complacent.

Reminds me of what MLK said about the silence of the good people.

  • Supporting LGBT rights is common sense, not just "an opinion". So yeah, common sense is not just for gay people. I'm glad the movement has support from such a brilliant show! As far as women from the View are concerned, I'm guessing they've never heard of sexual fluidity or the Kinsey scale before. I guess it's easier to approach the world in a manichaean manner.

  • @Riselikethetide Kinsey was a complete fraud. His methodology was not only shoddy and bias, but also criminal. Kinsey's psuedo-science was heavily funded by the Rockefellers to break down the family. Junk science begets junk science.

  • More and more straight men are supporting lgbt rights. Dave and Louis are among the most articulate of those men. Many, many thanks to you guys.
