This shouldn't be tagged 장기, when its "shougi...." Anyway I plan to study shougi and learn it someday--but the learning curve is high because the rules are a lot different than the other chess variants, with most pieces moving one square at a time, lots of defense (like western chess,) and pieces coming back from the dead. (I've already tried Western, Korean and Chinese Chess, and I like them in that order, it'll be interesting to see how much I like Shougi.)
wow! it's very helpful for korean who want to learn Japanese chess called Shogi. Thanksy you for nice and easy explaination ! Above all, your korean is very wonderful. Almost perfect. I can understand 100% your prononciation.
Coincedentally, I'm trying to learn Korean as well. I've heard that it's easier to learn if you know a language that's similar to it such as Chinese/Japanese.
youre able to speak japanese, some of the best english ive seen from a non-native, and korean apparently, you play great piano, some guitar, youre really good at shogi- able to understand and manipulate complex strategies effectively unlike most of us who just play move by move
i can play a little guitar, understand a handful of japanese words and hiragana. other than that im no good at anything. im 19 and i have no idea were im going in life
Seems like HIDETCHI has multilingual skills. I am not too surprised, he was skilled in both japanese and english, and adding korean seems like it will put him in at least a list of those that expanded shogi worldwide

Hi,
maybe it would be a good idea, to show how to turn on the help feature "show possible moves". ;-)
