  • Reminds me of the music from the Squid Lake ballet scene in Clone Wars

  • I WANNA SAMPLE IT !!! lol

  • I'd love to see somebody take this to a beach and drown out the guy with the guitar. Might beach a whale, but stil.

  • flat out killer. Consider that this is a brand new instrument. Given someone gifted actually trained with this for say a few years, what do you think they could do?

  • the holophoner will exist

  • Beautiful. The musical potential is huge.

  • It was boring.

  • wow thats truly shit

  • blowjob practice blowing and rubbing

  • cool hes using NI massi along with it, means you can have all vst sounds you want on it

  • Very cool, all things slide interest me. The slides the limit. FF

  • Holy shit! Machines are taking control! Bring John Connor!!!!!!

  • Awesome rhythm... :) i would buy that thingy if you have to sell! :)

  • As far as I can tell, the buttons on the back alter the pitch as much as the sliding does. The buttons on the front/joystick select and fade in effects it seems. But who knows, their functions could all be interchangeable just to confuse us all.

  • @AimmarCair The buttons change the partial, something normally done by the mouth. So by changing the partial he can switch partial octaves and full ones.

  • @googlemaster6380 that made little sense to me but I imagine it requires a more in-depth understanding of wind indstruments... sadly I do not :(

  • @AimmarCair *instruments

The right slide is changing pitches within a span of a tritone for each selected overtone, which in turn is chosen by switch presses.

The left slide is controlling the pitch of the drone tones (in this performance only two pitches were selected in the very beginning of the improvisation)

It also controls the volume of those pitches.

    Thanks for your interest.

  • Chewbacca would be proud ;-)

  • @22030815 jajajajajajaajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajaajajaj LOL

  • Cool ! I want one!

  • @DuralastTurbo

yeah, he presses a button each time the pitch change, it looks like the sliding is to add effects or something, but he's definitely not changing the pitch with the slides

  • @Meteorotaki

seems to me like slide to adjust pitch, press button to confirm. to avoid the portamento, portamento is gay.

  • This is very cool! It's like a trombone version for an EWI or James Morrison's digital trumpet.

  • Is it just me, or do the people from 0:46-0:51 look seriously bored? I don't know how, this was great! I'm still not exactly sure what the left slide is for though.

  • Very nice!!!

  • Absolutely amazing!!

    Congratulations Tomas.

    Thank you!

  • Excellent Tomas.

    Regards Pete.

  • A great instrument. I can see Indian artists loving this. BUT pure electronic music---and I like it immensely BTW---merely confuses and bewilders the average listener. You can see some of that on the faces of the audience and they attended KNOWING they were in for something a bit 'different.' Is Tomas destined to be the Nyle Steiner of the 21st Century?
