@PollyPetron Voice actor's emotions makes little difference to a viewer with a wide imagination and interested in the anime itself instead of the dubbing. But if that's all the reason you need to watch anime Japanese instead of English then I guess that's your decision, personally I like to stay away from non-english voice casted versions unless it's the only version available, like Dbz: plan to eradicate the super saiyajin. I'll even wait patiently for the dubbed Sekirei Pure Engagement.

@UltimatePiccolo I completely agree, not that japanese is really ever bad, the only anime I have been forced to watch in subbed is shana of the burning eyes. Also I heard sekirei: pure engagement dub is coming either mid Jan or late 2012

@Trexmaster123 Have you seen Girls Bravo, Rosario + Vampire or Kanokon? All pretty cool harem animes like sekirei. Even Ouran High School Host Club, that one is the most similar to School Rumble though.

@PollyPetron I can't deny that in japan they have more variety of skill when it comes to dubbing, mainly because there's more and even more willing however, what does it matter if you can't understand it? You can understand the subtitles, no matter how good the voice actors are won't benefit much from something you can't understand, sure if you understand Japanese perfectly then by all means watch it even without subs and enjoy their talents, but if you're not, why put yourself through that?

@PollyPetron Are you kidding? The school rumble dub was amazing, people watch anime for the anime itself, artwork, the storyline, the characters, the plot. NOT to have multiple orgasms over the japanese voice actors. Let's not forget that this is animation so there is no actual language their mouths are drawn to imitate, it's not like an old kung fu movie where an english dub looks out of place.

Screw subtitles, You watch an anime for the animation, action and story. No reason to be watching it in subtitles unless you have to especially when the dub is as good as school rumble.

I know that is just a show (and a comedy on top of that,) but I can't help but feel kinda bad for some of the characters. Even though feelings in high school usually don't run to deep (in most cases that is) many of the characters seem quit serious about how they feel. Even though I haven't finished watching the series, there is no possible way for everyone to get their feelings returned. And even if a couple hooks up, there is a good chance it will be a one sided relationship.
