@jetininjaman The Moongel reduces the vibration of the head, which reduces overtones. You could use plasticine if you like.

I just got a set of 4, today. I saw some people complain about the small size, but having 4 small Moongels allows you to fine-tune exactly how much dampening you want.

you should place the pads at opisite sides.

e.g 12 and 6 o'clock
