In Afghanistan a company of royal marines has been held for a warcrime but the case has been dropped. They (the insurgents) would open fire then throw down their guns as we are not allowed to shoot them unarmed. So the rule was we'd put them down then put the guns upon their bodies. Thats not a crime, as they'd kill you if they got a chance exactly how those VC would. war is all the same and war is complete murder for everyone friend or foe

Just to clarify, I am not saying all soldiers in Viet Nam were committing war crimes ... I do want to welcome you home.. I just want people to be aware that war is not a game or a movie and not something to be held glamorous. War is very real, very painful and very lethal and not just for those who served but for their families as well. All that being said, "Welcome Home" to all of you who came home and I hope we all learn that war is not a way of life to be idolized.

There is a movie called, "Winter Soldier" about veterans trying to stop the war in Viet Nam because of all the war crimes going on and covered up. Those of you who think this is glamorous and noble should watch the movie.
