Wow this is exactly what i imagined the book 'smack' to be like.

Im american, and i cant help but wonder what it would be like to live somewhere in europe like wales...or anywhere in britain. Just seems, like a whole different world.

Like, wow. I feel wierd since im white and am american, i almost feel like im SUPPOSE to live in europe. Ya know, where my ancestors came from (austria to be exact).

This is not representative of the UK at all; this area of Swansea is extremely deprived (like Detroit in the USA).

Like anywhere, the UK has beautiful areas and areas that are less attractive.

Why do you think the UK is like a 'whole different world'. Go the London and it's pretty much the same as NYC.

I met a girl from America who had seen this on CNN. As soon as she found out I was from Swansea she brought it up. What a great ad for our city . . .

@R0undAboutMidnight I completely agree, it only focuses on the "not so good" parts of the city which paints a very one sided and shady view of a fantastic city which is honestly packed with lovely kind people. We can not dispute as one sided the picture is thats being painted ....... its true. Very sad for these youngsters..... very sad indeed.
