You can tell someone is a good actor when you start to believe that the character is actually a real person, and Robert Sheehan got that down to a tee. He is a great actor and Misfits isn't really the same without Nathan (even though Rudy is funny too). But, as a true fan of Sheehan and of Misfits, I feel genuinely proud that he is now in films and is starting to make himself known internationally. Grant you, he was one of the best things about Misfits, but he is a great actor and will do well.

Furthermore, now that Nathan's gone, the show must actually rely on good plots and storylines, because they cannot rely on Nathan's lines and good performances to save it.

I like the show, it's still very good. But I do believe that the makers are having to work much harder to make the third series liked. Nathan's absence has just left a gaping hole. He was given the best lines, and he delivered them ace. He just had it. And it's just not the same.

With Nathan, while he does have emotional stuff going on, he's always a bastard. With Rudy, you get a sense that his persona of being a dick is just a mask to hide his insecurities. He's also a lot more sincere, like in the scene where he apologizes to the women in the club. Rudy isn't Nathan, Rudy is Rudy, and he's awesome
