any person going hiking in the Grand Canyon, with 100 degree temps, wearing black, can 't be the sharpest knife in the drawer - you probably weren't wearing a wide brimmed hat or carrying a good supply of water either - you're damn lucky they didn't have to helicopter your naive butt out of there (at the tune of about $3500.00)- and to think you might vote too - heaven help us all
my wife USED to be afraid of heights - she rode the mule, and now she's not afraid - will look straght down over bridges, in trams, in glass elevators, anything
I can't imagine someone could have a fear of heights as much as me, I went tothe Grand Canyon last Tuesday to appease my d=family, more importantly my 11 year old daughter, I got as close as 15 feet to the canyon. Everyone (My family)was proud of me because 50 YARDS was my limit. I did my best to get that close! You laugh, but I have handled snakes (as pets) rattlers, scorpions, tarantulas and have no fear of them! Heights, Yes! I'm going to work on my phobia and walk down the canyon next year!
I hate the grand canyon.... I went with my bff hikeing and It was over 100 degrees out and I was wearing all black... It sucked!!!!!!!!!!
