Peter Reveen is not Canadian, but Australian, though he lived and played in Canada a great deal. I knew him when he (and I) lived in Utah, about 40 years ago.

He ended his career as Lance Burton's manager (I don't know their financial arrangements, but if it were the low typical ten percent), when Lance signed the hundred million dollar Vegas contract a decade ago, Peter did okay for himself. He was indeed a master showman, and inspired my professional career in many ways.

Thanks for your comments. For most of it you are correct but note that Reveen is still Lance's Manager and should be for awhile. Bravo! This gentleman was (and, hopefully, still is) truly the Blackstone Jr. of Canada. If someone ever does a movie of his life, they should get English character Michael Lonsdale to play him.*

Everyone who I have ever talked to who was lucky enough to have ever seen any of Reveen's Magic Shows considers his shows to be among the best magic shows to have ever toured. This footage is a tremendous historical treasure for the archives of Magic. Congratulations Jim Tustian for filming and presenting this footage!

Thanks for the good words -The film you see was commissioned by him, many years ago. I am proud to be a friend of Reveen's and to have worked with him as a friend for so many years. I am still doing film work with him and the Reveen family - I'll be rolling the cameras on his next Maritimes Hypnotic show tour
