  • Thank you Michael for all your work. Don't pay attention to people complaining about this or that we all have to watch carbohydrates, no matter what. Your recipes are great, keep them coming. I am the master of my ship so I can and will decide whats best for me to eat.

  • Please give the video a like if you don't mind! I can't tell you all how much I appreciate it.

  • can i substitute lemon juice with lime juice?

  • @reflexpoint yes

  • hummus kicks ass. nice recipe

  • Have you ever given thought to publishing a series of LBL cookbooks?

  • @leanbodylifestyle It's true unless you are trying to bulk and put on mass then you need that 1.5 grams of protien per pound of bodyweight but its called leanbodylifestyle were your vids are mostly about lean muscle and weight loss. Keep it up love the vids I am down 30 pds and its because of some of your recipes.

  • nice vid! how about homemade bbq sauce? ;)

  • i'd rather buy mine from trader joe's lol

  • I've made this before but instead of the tahini I add a tablespoon of natural peanut butter. It does add to the calorie count, but also up's the protein (for people concerned about it containing too little ;) and it gives it a nuttier taste - closer to actual hummus.

Thanks for the videos Michael! They help A LOT!!!

  • I recently made a decision to lower the amount of meat that I eat. I used to eat chicken twice a day, beef 2 or 3 times a week, lamb once a week, tuna 3 to 5 times a week... I replaced a lot of the red meat with beans. They have protein, carbs and fibre. Also eating more quinoa. Also, I eat a whole egg once every other day. My other sources of protein are whey, and dairy sources like cottage cheese and greek yogurt. The fibre from beans at first was a bit much for me to handle, but fine now

  • <33HUMMUS

  • Looks delish, will make mine with paprika. :)

A question: Does hummus give you gas?

  • how much is "a little bit"

  • Looooove hummus!!!

  • I agree. Snacks don't need to be high protein all the time. I think the variety and taste of foods like hummus is healthy and necessary. And if you eat several meals a day, then smaller healthy meals and snacks is the way to go. Great job Michael!

  • isn't hummus supposed to have tahini? that's like one of the main ingredients

  • what does hummus taste like ?

  • @Justmylukc it tastes like heaven

  • @Justmylukc

its unique imo. tasty, but depending on how much of the extra stuff like garlic/herbs and whatever you put in, mainly determines how it will taste.. chickpeas by themselves taste a bit shit :P

  • nice healthy arab food!thanks kory

  • Great vid. I eat Hummus all the time, it goes with so much. My favourite is Tuna/Hummus sandwich (Wholewheat bread of course), real tasty and fills you up real good.

  • this is really healthy :) who cares if its not high in protein it a snack...and its delicious :)

if ppl want high protein then let them add a scoop of vanilla whey and let the eat eat...yuck lol

  • thank you! I know I'd requested this so I made a point of liking your vid--I usually do anyhow;)Cheers!

  • the bad thing about these is i normally eat the whole things its so good

  • Just a tip: adding about 3 tbsp ofTehina/Tahini (sesame paste) makes it smoother and it usually tastes better :) and it's also a really good dip by itself.

  • CampbellFitness and Mike talking together on the same video! EPIC!!! haha you guys are awesome!!!

  • i love hummus to death cause im arabic :D

  • Make A beef recipe.

  • Michael, what protein powder do you use, the chocolate one?

PS. Snacks are perfect, don't worry about people saying they aren't high enough in protein.

  • keep up the good work! I love these delicious and healthy recipes that really help us along the way! and haters are LOSERS!

  • @leanbodylifestyle why didnt you add tahini? without it your hummus is really thick and unappetizing.

  • 5th :(

  • mmmm hummus

  • @leanbodylifestyle I think that's a big misconception. People think they need to have this huge amount of protein. Unless they're trying to put on tons of mass (which is almost impossible for people on low calorie diets) they really can't use all that protein.

  • FUCK YAAA!

  • Thanks man!
