if you see carefully the 3g has 8 pages with apps, but the 3gs has only 6 pages. so it means that the 3g probably has more installed apps and it will make it slower that the 3gs.

Search for the inside caracteristics, the are the same.

Wow if anyone needs to pay hundreds of dollars more to load any of these applications a few seconds faster then you need to just not own an iphone period and carry a damn mini notebook around with a powerful wifi card.

Not only do the apps load 5 times faster which is very important for portable use, but it also runs games a lot smoother. Some new games are actually unplayable on the older generations, where they run perfect of the 3GS.

3Gs isnt all that great and Android is quickly catching up with apps now that 2.0 makes it 100x easier to develop apps for all phone models.

You talk about playing your games smoother and loading apps 5x faster.

Games? i dont buy phones to play games on them. Thats what a psp or gameboy is for.

Apps loading 5x faster? Prove it? Maybe an app made JUST for the new Iphone model.

Apps do load 5x faster and I have tested this using my own 3Gs and my friend's 3G. This was using various apps, none made for 3Gs only. (I can't believe you actually came out with that one)

Every app I tested started at least 20 seconds before the 3G.

3Gs is more than 50% faster. So it's that much better. Can't argue with that.

I use my iPhone as a gaming device. I actually sold my PSP because I didn't use it. 3Gs is more powerful than PSP and the market is fresh and new games are constantly released.

I tested NFS:Shift and it was actually unplayable on the 3G.

Actually it was 3g and 3gs as the 2g and 3g are roughly the same speed.. as for buying everything they come out with next.. some dicks like me don't buy insurance and break our iphones after 18 months.. I am glad TBH cos now my new Iphone will be faster than the old one..

I do agree with you on paying hundreds though!! the only was I could get my new 3gs 16gb free handset was 45 a month 2 year contract, Fuck it though.. I can reduce the cost from 45 to 35 after 9 months so im not too bothered
