that is great, thanks! The only fold I knew how to do was the flame fold from when I was a security guard at a resort. The on-site Restaurant Manager taught me because they had a BIG party coming in and needed some extra muscle.

light cornstarch/sugar spray works too.

cornstarch runs less risk of being sticky if you mess up the ratio

what do you mean by spray? do you mean mixing it in water and then spraying it from a spray bottle on to the napkin?

Pretty much. You need to fully dissolve the cornstarch first though, so you have to apply heat> just don't cook it.

But the simplest way really is just buy the aerosol starch in the laundry aisle.
