i have a question for creationists why the bible, why not the hindu vedas? Theyve been around longer and their creation myth actually fits the billions of years scientific model unlike the so-calledpromoted truth in the bible.

May I suggest you start reading books by various authors on evolution and you'll start to see the reasons behind the fact of evolution. I'm not sure if the research has been done on your question. Babies cry instinctually to solicit help, babies that dont cry may not get fed enough which could lead to starvation or other health problems preventing reproduction.
@bpbusstop not everything has a purpose. some things are side effects of other things. crying could be something that stays with you after you get older. it has obvious uses in infants. it may also be a natural response that makes you try to get sympathy from those around you, making you feel better. an animal that isn't as sad could remain healthier and have stronger desires to survive, allowing them to reproduce more. i'm not sure, i haven't looked into it, but those are 2 possibilities.
I think that if we take this view many in fact close off possibilities of further discovering something in the future that to us may by some definitions resemble a type of god.

May I suggest you start reading books by various authors on evolution and you'll start to see the reasons behind the fact of evolution. I'm not sure if the research has been done on your question. Babies cry instinctually to solicit help, babies that dont cry may not get fed enough which could lead to starvation or other health problems preventing reproduction.

@bpbusstop not everything has a purpose. some things are side effects of other things. crying could be something that stays with you after you get older. it has obvious uses in infants. it may also be a natural response that makes you try to get sympathy from those around you, making you feel better. an animal that isn't as sad could remain healthier and have stronger desires to survive, allowing them to reproduce more. i'm not sure, i haven't looked into it, but those are 2 possibilities.

For every copy of "On The Origin Of Species" that Banana Man has parasitised, simply hand out copies of the Bible included with prefaces showing that this book is filled with lies, hate, bigotry, torture, slavery, murder and is by no means anything to waste your life believing. I have read the bible, found it tedious and very telling of being manmade and political in nature. Ive also taken a fair bit of archaeology in university and found that the true history of the israelites is very different from what they say in that little book you love so much.

Thank you for this, the funny thing is I was brought up religious, I knew it was a load of bollocks so slept through all of the ramblings. My dad later tols me about when he was in school in the 60s there was a big fuss about teaching Evolution in their school. That was when I knew what the real answers were.
