@AeonMagnus Reproduction line like the figures used in department stores called action figures. What I meant by "re-released" was the company who made the crappy Fraimcom games for Nintendo and the 2003 release of G1 for the PS2 also owned the Transformers line all the way back to G1 including the rare Macross Fighter released as G1 Jetfire. Correct my bad grammar/English but I believe it was Tatio who owned the original line that Hasbro reissued in the states. Sorry for the confusion.
@scaryred24 Takara created the original figures that became most of the first two years of G1 Transformers. But Hasbro imported figures from other companies to increase the size of the toyline. Jetfire, Omega Supreme, Shockwave and several others weren't sold as Transformers in Japan because they were from Takara's competitors.
"Reproduction" suggests it's a copy. The figures for Armada were all new, not G1 re-issues, and Hasbro's U.S. releases were more or less the same as Takara's in Japan.
