That's about as much as we got here in the High Desert! But I expect that by now you've gotten much more snow. Our car is snowed in; first time EVER! The desert dwellers are not prepared for this type of weather.

I was stationed at Ft. Irwin by Barstow. What a wasteland. We got snow for about 30min once while I was in the feild around Christmas, I would have strung lights on a kreosote bush if I had them :).

I used to live on a mountain in the middle of no where, actually.

We had plenty of bears and stuff...

nice snow. we got 3 feet last night and still tons more coming. full size old school vans have snow up to windows on side of van from one night. it is insane with 3 feet on the tops of cars. and no sign of letting up. easily one hour to get my explorer out of its spot because snow is one foot higher than bumper and it has chains already on it. get your white gi on and to some tamishigiri.lol fun stuff. wicked winter starting. i got lots of scooping to do today. hours worth.

Yeah. I've done a few hours of shoveling already, so I don't envy your position. Haha! I lucked out today, though. They plowed our streets for the first time in days, so I had a three foot ice burm. One of the plows in a backhow came by again, saw me shoveling, then scooped the whole thing out in one pass. He smiled and took off. That was cool.

nice. you did see my new snow vid of me digging the car out i think right. sorry i forget if you commented. but i guess tomorrow is 3 more feet. plows been running all night and they are semi size plows with scoopers on the front that push a snow pile the size of a giant full size van but 2 feet taller. they move massive amounts all night but it keeps coming and it is insane right now. good stuff for the shredding though. take care

LOL, My yard looks like that from mid-November through April. We have already had to shovel the roofs off because the snow was so deep and heavy. I am heading to Toronto tonight in a blizzard ( 3 hour drive ) so I can catch a flight to Barbados tomorrow. I can't wait to get out of this winter hell.
