A firefighters job is not to protect his fellow firemen, it is to protect property. Man is nothing without pride, Jimmy had every right to expect his old position back, the captain made a bad decision. Putting life safety infront of ones job is never appropriate.

And I agree with Jimmy wanting his job back, if they wanted him to take it easy they should have told him that he should just take the easy jobs then when he's ready he can get back in his old spot.

He froze thats all, it is a traumatic experience getting shot, he waas doing wat any human would trying to prove hiself so he can function, without that he wouldnt be able to live.
I love this episode,because it's for Jimmy - the best fireman on a show ever!He's perfect!I feld really bad about him!I'm big fan of Eddie Cibrian,that's why I like so much Doherty,but there's other reason also - because of his brave...I adore the show and I hope there it would be more episodes!
