@IBangedYourFather its random, like sometimes you can kill the adamantoise from first try with death, its very rare but not possible. :) you can keep this in your mind for ff13-2.

@PuppyBone92 There's a little synthesised ability called Random: Instant Chain which only works on this boss in the Japanese version pl0x. Do your research before you call someone a hack.

@PuppyBone92 You obviously didn't beat it enough, then. :/ There are definitely cactuars in the game. You have to trigger a scene in the Archlyte Steppe for it to happen.
