1408 was a horror/thriller in which a magazine writer would go and stay in supposedly "haunted" locales and write about their 'fear' rating. He stays in a hotel room 1408, and the 'room' progressively takes him through the levels of hell and fear. The song comes in when, each time the room brings him to a lower level of hell, the radio will activate and play the line "We've only just begun..." as if taunting him to the horrors he's about to experience.
