Dude I would not miss my dell 9300, it sucks, it cant run anything, the internet takes forever, only thing I can do is paint and use microsoft programs...

This video makes me want to rip apart my Inspiron 9300 and clean/mod it to work like this. I've got the 1.86ghz Centrino Pent M with 6800 GO 256mb. I have trouble even running COD4 with decent settings! Any ideas? Also I should note the fan in the rear right corner seems to be shot! It gets a lot hotter than the left (used to make noises too) and I'm now getting even less frames than before it happened. I dont have a lot of money either or I'd just upgrade! Any help would be appreciated.
I have to run COD4 at 800x600 with settings all on low or off. With these settings I still only pull, at most, 80 frames with nothing going on. The frames will drop into red (sub 20fps) a lot when there is action going on also. The 9300, when I got it at least, could get the 6800 GTX, but I have the GT. Same goes for faster CPU's that I opted out of paying out my ass for.
I got mine a little over 3 years ago with the geforce go 6800. I paid about $2100 total for it and got a 1.6 ghz with only 1 gig RAM. I can play COD4 without trouble at middle settings (even in multiplayer). I wonder why the big difference btwn our two comps? :/
well, they must want to be on a worldwide broadcasting station!! lol. I have to cockatiels at our house to. they can be pretty noisy too, but its nice haveing them around
andlastly thx 4 your crysis post, but u forget to describe your resolution, which settings/effects is high/low?? my crysis lag i run with the dell 6800 drivers, but my gpu runs 350 and my men runs 800, i score almost 10000 in 3dmark 03, but my crysis laaaaags
To pinmod your cpu, you need to have a centrino pentium M. I know of only two cpus that will do this, and they have to be 400 mhz then pinmodded they become 533mhz. The 1.6ghz and a 1.86ghz.

Depends on your Video Card, find that out. If you have a Nvidia 6800 or 6800 Ultra or above, like 7800 gtx, then YES you can.
