I would think that if there are people out there who can destroy battletoads on the NES then there are people out there who can merely press the B button very fast to pull off the 3 shot burst.
@mgoGlennBeck225 when you are not physically on rush, i.e. you are jumping, it does not count towards depleting your ammo. just a tip, on issues about game mechanics, there is usually an explanation other than "cheating."
I wonder if any of the creators ever look these up and just kick themselves for not making more the game harder. Also was it me or did anyone else HATE this version of Rush, he didn't allow you to move around as freely.
I'm very surprised during snake man's stage you were not utilizing all the glitches available towards a faster time. Also, your sudden stops (such as after fighting the 2nd giant snake during the jump), are really lowering an even better time.

However, this is all coming from someone who has done low 35:xx to high 34:xx runs on official NES controllers.
@JoshthePing i'd be interested in watching how the glitches improve the run... the time you say is almost impossible for me to imagine, but if you have some tricks under your sleeve then show them. On a sidenote, I've never seen one of the "controller 2" glitches on any speedrun of MM3, I would also like see that.
this game has the best soundtrack ever! classic and its aged very well since I was 10yr old.
