Gundam 00 season 2 - Anime Review

when i wached the last episode of season 2 i was so sad i nearly cried so many people died and also wtf why dident they make a third season i mean they made a lot of money from it

Just my opinion:

00 is very heavy handed, not that it is really bad.  It kinda takes the 'war is hell' message and takes the terrorism/child soldiers route. I feel like Z takes the message far better, example being the tree falling on a monkey. And the terrorism angle is a lot more overdone than in Gundam Wing.

That being said, I like series, and love the mech designs of the badguy suits.

"I am Gundam" really would throw people off. But I think they did good job in that. This is not just because Setsuna wanted to be a hunk of metal. It goes beyond that. It's about what Gundams represent and how it (0 Gundam in particular) changed his life. S1 really put emphasis in that.

!! Who is this nerd class being who's words are strung together with the integrity of a whiny weakling semiconscious entity? I believe the conflicts and character development of this series is an awesome backdrop to the stories of New types and coordinators to come, despite the technological superiority of this time-line. This is not mech warriors, it's Gundam -_- Gundam has never been so much about the giant robot conflicts but the evolution of consciousness that comes from them.

(please excuse my bad spelling )lockon had a catch phrase. the maria thing was part of catharone. yeah Teiria was a dick in S1. saji was beast for the weak guy. patrick was cool too. yeah it did look like the amoro and setsuna was feeling it. i thought u were gonna dick the series in the mud but you reviewed the same way i would. subbed!

i disagree i relly dont like this gundam hardly any of the pilots have any emotion at all except for hallelujah and the Irish guy well the purple guy was like a robot or something in but setsuna is just your typical emotinliss anime charecter this one is just boring to me

@oyametalicus what battale cry? any way maby he is not that emotenless but setell i have some problems with him as a charectrue especuall his crazy thing about him tinking he is a gundam or somthin but after watching a little more of it the emotless thing sorta plays into the story unlike some anime seing as who he actullay had a good backstoy this just relly isnt near my favorite gundam i pefer the older ones

well, he thinks he's a gundam because he doesn't believe in God nor God's existence that's why he sees gundams as "Gods"..makes sense right?

@oyametalicus Nah its more like this. When Setsuna was young, Ali made him think that as long as they fight the "Holy War", God will grace them (with peace and hapinness). But after the ANFs decimated them (leaving him), it makes him question where is god when they needed his grace. The god is not there; nothing is changed. Then the 0 Gundam saved him ( a man made MS). From that time on, Setsuna decided that he will be in charge of his own "peace." That is what Gundam represent to him.

@oyametalicus i knew what a battle cry was i just did not know it was that famous considering just about all the other gundams before it had done pretty much the same thing but to answer your question yes it makes scenes now :).....still dont like this gundam :)....... i guess everyone has their own onions

It's sad those who watched your page probably haven't seen it yet since I am the one going to make the first comment. Anyway, I am a huge Gundam fan as well and I think this was one of the best shows thus far. Note, I haven't watch all of the Gundams, but I have watched a few to honestly say Gundam 00 is superior to all of them in terms of animation, story, and character development. I think the animation is really up there..truly epic series and I recommend it to anyone.

I agree with u on the animation,story, and character development, but one thing that bug me about gundam 00 is how the realistic piloting of the ms is not strong point of the serie.

I don't think realistic piloting was a goal of the show. It sure wasn't in other Gundams, either.

@akumous It is totally one of the best Gundam series (and maybe anime series)My favourites are Gundam 00,Gundam Wing,Gundam Age and Gundam Unicorn.
