it depends, cause if your bass player is a pick bassist, he'd probably be able to pick up a guitar in no time. but if hes a 100% finger bassist, they wouldnt be able to play for shit. trust me, ive seen

Well Fred is the bassist for DragonForce. He is actually a guitarist tho. He bought his first bass weeks before joining them. Before that he was guitarist for a lot of other bands, the most important of which was Heavenly.

just saw dragonforce tonight in philadelphia... had no clue the guy could go from bassist to shredding better than most bands' lead guitar players... definitely a highlight of their show. i'm a fan of fred now!

its a little known fact, but almost everyone in the band is a good guitarist. vadim studied classical guitar...fred plays guitar in another band...i'm not sure about dave or zp though
