John McCain are the only REAL consistent fiscal conservative. He is the only one has a long term record of cutting wasteful spending. In recent decades, we have numerous republican presidents, but none has truly created a small government. Not even Reagan. When was the last time our government decreases spending? It was in 1950's. Our government kept increasing and this contradicts the small government philosophy. McCain is the only true fiscal conservative.

The Tax Foundation reported that in 2006, Massachusetts state and local tax burden had increased to 10.3 percent: the 28th highest in the nation. Thus, during the Romney administration, Bay Staters saw their taxes burden increase by 5.1 percent in real terms.

Yeah, I read before too. Romney has cut some taxes and implement some new taxes. At the end, it is a NET increase. Romney was very misleading when he said he cut taxes because that is only half of the story.

Romney's decision to raise many fees, BUT NOT THE FEE FOR SEXUAL OFFENDERS' REGISTRATION, REMAINS A SENSITIVE POLITICAL TOPIC. Then Massachusetts Lt. Gov. Kerry Healey (R) said last fall that she disagreed both with this veto and another that sought to block a bill to spend $750,000 reducing a backlog of unregistered sex offenders. Massachusetts's Democratic legislature overrode both vetoes.
