Its pretty interesting to know that at the time sherilyn fenn was doing this movie she was dating johnny depp, and johnny had auditioned for the role, but mike marvin saw charlie as his star for this movie, but mike wanted to give johnny a role, but he wanted the lead so he never did it. Would have been his first leading role for his career, but ultimately later after the wraith was finished filming he got a good part with charlie sheen in hit movie platoon which was a coincidence.
Great editing for the video! Alot of people like the cars in the movie - I absolutely love the '85 Honda XL 350 on/off road bike. The best part is when he has the hot chick on the back of it - I SO wanted to be that guy!
I really liked this movie. It's a shame that Charlie Sheen has turned out to be the way that he is now, because, it kind of ruins the movie for me now with him in the romantic scenes. I think of seeing him in his latest rants on TV and how much of a wacko he is, and, it's completely distracting from how I used to think that these scenes were smoldering.
@deborahdcline you have to remember that he is an actor.Things aren't always what they seem.Look at Danny the guy from fullhouse. What an asshole he really is.
@deborahdcline You know I think initially he was an alright guy, but as we have all seen stardom can, and has changed people, it's a shame! i miss theses days :)
For some reason, Abe LaMarca's variant of this track is just a [little] bit better than the variant by David Hallyday, though in fairness I thought his variant was pretty cool.
Still, there is something about LaMarca's variant that just overrides Hallyday.
First of all, its a great song for a movie like this. I always liked good soundtrack songs that makes you wish you where the main caracter in the movie :P
I remember that Sylvester Stallone also had some great soundtracks in his movies like:
Robert Tepper - Angel of the city (Cobra 1986)
Jean Beauvoir - Feel The Heat (Cobra 1986)
Robert Tepper - Theres No Easy Way Out (Rocky IV 1985)
If you know more great movie songs like these, pls let me know!
@ParalysedMovies its a great film as rocky and cobra i loved there songs too rocky aka sylvester was such my pin up man and charlie sheen id lock him up anyday in my room and show him where the fire is
@johnport89 to be exact it was jamie he used jake as a cover as to who he was untill he settled his score i remember the movie so well evan tho i was a teen when i seen it and now still being 26yrs i still love this movie.
@johnport89 yeah its a good show i watch it he plays charlie as the charlie he is in real life sex addict/alcoholic gotta love him tho id for sure take him on knowing all that lol...
but if all i ever get is too watch him hey im happy. he pulls it off so well actually i think he is one man no women could handle but would love to be with.
@Gunnerholic27 I was born in 1971, during the pinnacle of the 1st American Musclecar era. Enjoyed growing up through the '80s as a teen. Enjoyed the '80s very much. Cool fads like Break-Dancing, BMX bikes, Jams (shorts), Rat-Tails and Mullets... Great music like Heavy Metal, Punk & New Wave... the coolest President ever (Ronald Reagan) ... the rebirth of American Performance cars (5.0 Mustang, IROC-Z Camaro) & classic movies! Great decade, wouldn't change a thing...
I cannot underestimate how much I miss the 1980s...now I know how my grandfather felt when he waxed nostalgia about the 30s and 40s....the total shit that passes for pop culture in today's America just makes me yearn for the 80s even more.
See,this is what today`s music lacks....heart,soul.....listen to the lyrics-you`ll never hear depth like that again...thank you 80`s,thank you la Marca, thank you sherilyn Fenn....
@davidfromlille ....to davidfromlille, this a great video....from one of my fav movies ♥ ♥....fond memories of the 80s. Keep up great work...You rock!!!!
