  • I think the girl at the beginning looks like a Kpop star xD She's pretty

  • And now I think all Koreans are thieves.

    Thanks TTMIK.

  • @PiroMunkie It's kind of puzzling why they choose that angle.

I like the sound of 천만에요. I don't feel the need to fall in line and sound like every other Korean. I don't use it exclusively, but I'm not going to abandon because of this video.

  • these guys are awesome ^__^ Namaste.

  • This video is really Funny.!! :))

  • ive been looking for this.. hahaha i used to say chonmaneyo, and now i know why i always get a weird response.. OTL. kamsahamnida ^^

  • ahhh.. I understand. That's why I hear it in Kdramas all the time. I wonder why it was always translated as "no probelm" thanks guys!!!!

  • so the natural way is to steal the money? hahaha

  • LOL

  • Korean money looks a lot like mexican money xDD

  • @DBSKcollab I always thought that Mexican money looked like european money (euro) because it is so colorful. I guess that most countries dollars in the world except for the USA, are colorful. I laughed how it is more natural in Korea to get some money out of the wallet before you return it to the proper owner and then say aniyo

  • i love the part when it froze i was laughing so hard because it looked so akward XD

  • this is perfectly the same as my Korean friend told me to do. COOL !

  • haha.. the awkward moment when they FREEZED..

  • Haha so funny!!!!! :)

  • ok so he totally took the won out of her wallet hahahaha EPIC!

  • I say like every other country Korea should stick to whats traditional! Otherwise traditions will be lost D: So i shall use 천만에요 even though I'll sound like a total weird out of place foreigner! : )

  • @veggievegetarian I don't think that is that much a matter of tradition as it is the fact that languages change and new expressions occure, no matter which language you're talking about.

  • @2emotional2 Yeah. It would also be rude as a foreigner for that girl to act like she knows Korean better than a native Korean. O.o

  • @AbercrombieQT88 Yea, I agree.

  • I really liked this video! It was great (:

  • The alphabet is not very difficult there are only 33 characters in the Korean alphabet. Talking it is another story completely. I have never heard such rapid Korean or any language spoken in my life seriously and people have to repeat themselves in English with me

  • wow you guys always put so much effort in your videos, i really enjoy all of them :)

and how the two finders of the wallet try to steal the money... thats actually so mean :/ but the video is funny anways :D:D

  • the guy looks like JYP only chubbier XDDDDDDDDD

  • when i was in korea, i would thank people and they would say 네, is that acceptable too? 감사합니다!

  • @mrsmahadesrosiers yes. they generally say "yes." "no" "of course," "it's okay" for their responses

  • Thumbs up if you think Hangul is easier to read/write/speak than western style letters!

  • I completely understand, in a formal perfect world you say 천만에요 and don't steal, but naturally... 1:11

  • then, stealing the money before you give the wallet is more natural right? sonsaengnim, did i understand my lesson well? i'll say 아니에요 if i steal the money. ㅋㅋㅋ it was just a joke

  • aww :)!! Thank you guys for uploading! Im in Korea right now and this is going to help me LOTS :) !!!!

  • hahahahaha i love how the 'realistic' scene shows them stealing XD

thing you for doing this! actually, i was quite confused with 'your welcome' before!

i'm quite surprised to see that you say literally 'no' or 'it's fine' ^^

  • Do most women ALWAYS wear high heals in Korea?

  • 다른 외국인들이 한국인에 대해 안좋은 인상을 주지 않을까용??

    그런 걱정도 해보네용 ^^

  • This was a good idea! You should add more common mistakes that Korean Foreign Language Speakers make. For me, it's the best way to learn! 감사합니다!!

  • Teehee it feels like I'm watching a Korean drama when I watch all of your videos! I don't know why, but it's so cute! :D Thank you for the videos! :)

  • hahaha you guys are so clever!~

Kyeong -eun unni is really pretty :3

  • So what's up w/ Kyeong-eun, she's always forgetting her bag or her wallet!

정말 감사합니다, TTMIK 재미 있어요 !!

  • Seeing it late, but really enjoyed the new video. They keep getting better and better :) I was actually told about this by a friend last month, but not in such a humorous way.

  • "내 돈 주세요! 내 도..." :-(

    너무 귀여워요. :-)

  • ahahaha! this is funny.

  • Haha, thanks this was awesome.!!

  • 헐! 연대 <3

  • my Korean friend told me to say "gwenchana" when someone says "kamsahamnida/komaseumnida" :P

  • this is a good video but it begs the question...when is "전만이예요" used ? in what situation is it more appropriate ?

  • Last week my students had to translate and English dialogue. In the dialogue a girl says Thanks! And her friend says No problem. How did my students translate it?

    A: 고마워!

    B: 문제 없어!

ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 귀엽죠? I laughed a lot.

  • @reallywally oh , they translated it literally? i am starting to learn korean right now and munje means problem and eobseo means "is not", right?

    that's really cute xD

  • very useful :) i was wondering if there was a 'you're welcome' in korean but was told they don't have it..

  • ㅋㅋ 정말 재미있네요! 촬영도 멋있고 연기도 멋진데요 ㅎ

  • LMAO seokjin XD

  • I'll never say "you're welcome", because it seems you'll freeze and go black-and-white every time you say it.

  • Remind me to always keep my money in my pocket when around those two!

  • haha I just say "네에에에!" with an upward tone - also used as "bye!" on the telephone ;)

  • that was funny ^^

  • Bidio neomu jaemiisseosseoyo! ^_^

  • Kyeongeun unnie's hair looks super pretty!!

  • Thanks! These are so helpful.. seriously.

  • haha that was fun XD

  • thank you so much!

  • Hahaha how mean xDDD But thank you for the advice ^^ It helped a lot ^^

  • I did the same...so i'm fine with the guy doing it lol!!

  • 감사합니다! 좋은 비디오 입니다.

  • I loved this video!!! It was very interesting. Keep up the good work and thanks!!!

  • What about 문제 없어요???!! haha

  • hahaa... at first, i didn't understand why you had the $ pocketing scheme as it is not in your character. but after seeing where you went with it, it turned out to be funny and educational. Thanks for the vid, keep em coming!

  • I just say ye ye. It the most natural to me.

  • ㅋㅋㅋ, 돈흠처내! 헐... ^.^

  • ooohhhh...

    now I know!!!!

  • The two girls in the video are hot.

  • @talktomeinkorean can you pls. tell me when is the proper to use 천만에요? 고맙습니다!

  • bali bali!!!

  • Hey don't be so unrealistic and righteous. Welcome to the real world where people are money minded. Such things happen so often in real life everyday. Anyway it is just a humorous video otherwise it will be plain boring!

  • thiefs!! Someone actually did that to me too =(...but thankfully, there were only $5 dollars in my wallet ^^.

  • Awww you guys are so awesome. Great humor too. :D

  • Good job :-) what kind of camcorder is this by the way?

  • Comment removed

  • Not so funny. Why are you showing Koreans steeling. Not cool

  • lol the thieve got stolen

  • What does she say at 2:35? Kamsahamnida! :)

  • Isn't "An-i-e-yo" basically just saying "it's nothing"?

  • just wondering if we say "chon ma ne yo" is correct as well right??

or ppl would look at me as a weird bug?

  • @elviizchoi it's correct but yea ppl would look at you weird.

  • very good. I'm learning so much from you. you have a student in Brazil.안녕!!!

  • the idea of this video: it is NOT natural to return someone's wallet w/o stealing his/her money.

  • Loved it! 저말 잘 했어요. 너무 재미있었어요!

  • Thanks to TTMIK I impressed my korean roommate with how much I know. Please continue to help us all.

  • Is it ever appropriate to use "천만에요"?

  • Freaking hilarious.

  • wow! so helpful. thank you. ^^

  • LOL at 0:45 the awkward staring hahaha and Kyeong-Eun unnie blinking XD

    감사합니다 ^^

  • This was interesting. I'm still learning Korean, so these videos are always useful... Thank you.

  • watching these videos is fun and informative. i LOOOVE how they pause, not in the video but in the scene. Standing still lol.

So i heard about postorder bride Russia, I want korea :p

  • I learned 천만에요 when I first started studying Korean, but I only used it once since then, and that was to my non-korean friend who was also studying Korean. I found out after that 아니에요 was better to use :)

  • awwwwwwww poor unni GIVE HER BACK HER MONEY PEOPLE!!!! lol :-P

Haiii Ajj kaal k bachey =\ hehehe

  • "not natural"ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

  • the way you teach makes you actually want to learn!

  • You guys are awesome x3

  • I like this video because I'm learning Korean and I don't want to sound awkward or unnatural, lol

  • LOL 2:01

  • how about 뭘요? that is what i was taught for you're welcome

  • Kyeong-eun: My money please! :D

    Other two: Byyyyee! ^^

    Kyeong-eun: My moneyyyy! D:

    Awww! Poor Kyeong-eun! xD

  • So great!!! I always say 천만에요, but now I will say 괜찮아요. 감사합니다.

  • :-D Hahaha, great one!

  • 네 is also common and so is 별말씀요. 별말씀 is like a polite way of saying no problem, no need to thank me.

네 seems to be just acknowledging the expression of thanks, while 아니예요 is humbley refusing it.

  • ㅋㅋ this was very cute!

  • I'm not gonna lie, but this is so odd, I just wrote to someone using 천만에요... FFFFFU-

  • awesome !!! lol

  • Cute outfits! And awesome video, thanks!

  • I said thank you to my waitress and she responded, "내~". Is that common?

  • Ahhh, very useful! I was taught 천만에요 so this is helpful!

  • haha the only reason he said 아니에요 is because he stole 천만 원. Get it? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

  • @loverlover2 아....that was cheesy. XD

  • We never learned 천만에요 in my classes. We were told it was 아니에요 괜찮아요. Well, either way. I guess if I hear other people say 천만에요 I will know what it is. =)

  • 영화를 재미있었어요. ㅎㅎㅎ 감사합니다 !

  • @moyang84 감사합니다!!

  • @moyang84

    영화가 not 를 :P

  • nice!!

  • you shouldn't teach how to steal moneyyy DDDDDDDDDDD:

  • @stefy4sl Sorry :P

  • @stefy4sl I think they were just trying to show that it is really common for people to take money if you aren't careful.

  • @queennomers i was just kidding! XDDD

  • ㅋㅋ nice! 재미있게 봤어요!

  • @liza183 Thanks a lot Matt!!

  • haha funny thing I never learned how to say 천만에요 I've always just been saying 아니에요 괜찮아요

  • Very useful : )

Is it natural to say "뭘요~"?

  • YONDAE
