Took me forever to figure out why your Punked episode with Tor Kamata (a famous 'bad guy' pro-wrestler) was so funny. Then I realized you meant Tomás de Torquemada when you said here he was in the Inquisition.
Finally, the last of your jokes I never got has been cleared up. I love your work.
Here's our production secret. We shot Jimbo's side of these (first ten questions) about six weeks ago --- questions and reactions. Then, I shot three of mine a couple weeks after, and the rest last week. Then, I just grab reactions from his shoot and pop 'em in. It's amazing what you can create in the edit.
PZ has agreed to be on the show. He'll be in LA in October -- for an event we're coincidentally performing at, so we're going to find time to have him shoot an episode of Mr. Deity with us.
BTW, I believe the original saying "No rest for the wicked" (if that did indeed came first) was about how one's conscience wouldn't let the wicked get a good night's sleep. I think we all know better --- don't we Celine????!!!!!!

Frost/Nixon parody?? very funny, as always :)

Yes, Frost/Nixon. If you haven't seen the "trailer" for these, watch it. It's an almost scene-for-scene rip-off of the Frost/Nixon trailer.

Woot. Seriously - today was a craptacular day. I log in to facebook, see this here linky-dink and suddenly things got a whole lot better.
Hm, how's an atheist bestow a blessing upon Mr. Deity without causing logic vortex?
ForgotMyGingko 2 years ago 2
An atheist is not afraid of they vortex. Therefore no vortex happens.

I got logic vortex once. My doctor prescribed penicillin and it went away in about 10 days. Very painful though.

You guys are so incredible! I get positively giddy when I see something new has been posted by you. :-)
debbieomi 2 years ago 2
Giddy is good! Positively giddy is bliss --- not quite "ignorance bliss," but bliss nonetheless.
misterdeity 2 years ago
Ignorance is bliss. So, naturally I'm miserable. Finding a new Deity post is orgasmic....well, for those of us with genitalia.
