Snakes can be VENOMOUS, but you're quite right that pythons are not. It also is a myth that one can suck out the venom from a snake bite. Don't recognize the language.
Having a python slither about freely in a house is not very wise btw, because aside from eating rats it will gladly explore other places if it can find a way out. Next thing you know it will be nowhere to be found. Later when it gets larger it will attack cats and dogs, and if large enough children too.
These two Phibes movies are so illogical, the doctor so insane, and inspector Trout so incompetent, they make for hilarious comedies.
