M.kamio plays Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto (3rd Mov)

Pardon for my mistake. this version is not from the Tchaikovsky prize XIII competition that Kameo Mayuko won but Hyun Su-Shins is from that competition !!

Great Performance but in my opinion the best version of the third movement in this competition was the sensational and mindblowing one by HyunSu-Shin.

She really goes for it and produces such a powerful , crisp and sharp performance of such vitality , Heifetz eat your heart out !!

Itys amazing how these slightly built young Oriental Girls have the strengh to play such a long and difficult piece of music. How can a mind and body learn to play this music by heart ? The repetitive strain on the wrist and body must be intense and I would have thought could lead to early endings to career's at the highest levels. eg perhaps at about 40 years old aprox ?

i know its wrong but i want this piece to be played in a strong, intense and forceful manner like the string would snap, but  this is one of the best performance that ive seen in my entire life, how i wish im in those crowd

How anyone could call her playing "typical Oriental" is pure ignorance. This young woman plays with such passion especially the finale. It gives me chills and leave me in awe of not just her but anyone who can master this difficult masterpiece.

youtube is a way to see how you have thousands of talented people who play the violin very well. When I started studying music I remember seeing for the first time Heifetz playing and I was dumbfounded. But now through this site and other means, seeing so many wonderful people playing the violin, I do not impress me as much as before with isolated cases of talented people, and I am most impressed with the music itself. And what a wonderful performance she gave! Congratulations!

Her sound is dirty....her violin's probably a strad. It's pretty obvious with the notes in the higher position.

Not avoiding scratchy sound is fingerprint of Z.Bron school.

She gave interviews during her first recording and said,

"I don't like just plain,beautiful sound. it is good to hear little scratchy sound sometimes."

Most important thing, she is not only a passionate player.

At some point,obviously she use softer sound,graceful interpretation than other player.

She has range,taste,and one of the greatest technical ability in the world .
