My wonderful little four year old loves stitch but was scared out of this ride she had to leave before They even started she is 10 now and still wont go on it she has been scared for life!
@SouleaterOnyx same thing happened to me, but I didn't slip. I had to hold on to it, the whole time, and when he "jumped on us" when he says "boing, boing, boing," the things went down.....
I remember I wasn't properly seated the last time I went, and when the shoulder bar thing came down, my shoulders were crushed, and I was like slipping out of my seat.
I rode the ride they replaced with this - Extra Terrorestrial, I think? - when I was seven, on the first trip to disney I can remember. Left the park hysterical crying. It. Was. Awful. The Devil's ride.
As much as I love Stitch, I don't think I'm ever stepping foot in TomorrowLand again.
Kids are scared of this? Really?! Unfortunately I've never experienced Extra terrorestrial first hand, but i do think it wasn't necessary to remove. It seemed so cool! I guess the binaural sound affects (googled) would scare kids, even with this but...Meh. I wish I could go and see this though, I have yet to do so. :(
But seriously you guys, complaining wont bring alien encounter back, so lets not hate on Stitch, who I love. ^_^

The whole concept behind the attraction was a show that was NOT visual; it was almost purely sensory. Alien did this a bit *too* well. When they turned it to Stitch, they got rid of everything that made it awesome.
When you strap a kid in a chair in a dark room and spray stuff at them, they're gonna get scared. Changing the alien from a menace to a comic doesn't change the show.
@TheCabronzizimo because its part of a contraption that makes u feel all the 4D effects. like wen he runs by u, or at least in alien encounter, your whole chair jolts down, or like the water effects, and the noise effects

By attempting to broaden the appeal for this type of attraction to a younger demographic as well as the audience of Alien, no one was happy; kids are still terrified, and now adults are bored on something that used to have their hearts pounding. By attempting to appeal to everyone, they pleased no one.
Really alien encounter for this? It seems a little fun but it will NEVER beat alien encounter and this ride is pretty scary for little kids i mean sitting there in the dark while you here these monsters in the backgrounds screaming HES ESCAPED HURRY CATCH HIM that would be scary for little kids . . .
@bluerazz606 I went on this on my 11th birthday and CRIED!!!! It was the scariest thing I have ever done! When he says, "Stich hungry" HE NIBBLED ON MY HAIR!!! aAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!
@HoLyCoUgAr Maybe if did a combination between this and ExtraTERRORestrial, it may just work. Bring back the darker tone and have it take place after Leroy and Stitch, where Stitch is no longer an enemy to the Galactic Federation and is consider as a hero to them. The preshow plot, it's still the whole recruiting thing but during it, they get an emergency message from Stitch say that an evil alien (the EtraTERRORestrial) has kidnapped his family and he's chasing after them in his red spaceship.
@HoLyCoUgAr (continued) Stitch manages to get on the E-Terror's ship and starts battling with it. While momentarily subduing the E-Terror with his super strength, Stitch yells at the robot guard to teleport them both onto the Galactic Federation Prisoner Teleport Center. Once your in the room of where it happens you get an epic battle between Stitch and the E-Terror. The creature still does escape but Stitch chase after it through the darkness, blasters in two of his four hands.
@HoLyCoUgAr (continued again) So, you have Stitch running around, brushing pass people's legs and shooting off his blasters, trying to get the dangerous alien and the E-Terror reeking havoc and eating some people. The E-Terror ends up back in the tube, giving Stitch a clear shot at it and blowing the alien up with blasters on full power. It ends after Stitch frees his family and afterwards, on some days, you get to meet Lilo and Stitch along with some his cousins (Angel, Reuben, or Sparky).
@HoLyCoUgAr I agree. They should give the Alien Encounter Ride to Universal Studios between E.T. and Terminator 2 3d or replace the abandoned restaurant by E.T.
GOOD NEWS: We uploaded a HD audio version of the attraction with many different clips from many different videos, and it is the full ride!!!!!!!!!!!!! Check it out!

I actually prefer this over alien encounter, I think alien encounter was more cheesy than scary and it wasnt believable.

Pity. I would have loved to experience Alien again (not this POS).

I'm still made they removed the Extraterrorestial nd replaced it with Stitch. Yes this guy is more kid friendly..but I liked the TERROR!
