I will never be happy with another calling the races at Churchill! They are having 5 "guest" callers at this time, the Fall Meet, 2008. The first one SUCKED!
@morris2112 I worked with him too at Ruidso Downs, I just learned of his passing and my heart sank. I had not seen him in years but will miss him the rest of my life.
Amen. One of the most distinctive voices in the game. My first Luke Kruytbosch moment was the nationally-televised 1995 All-American Futurity's victory by Winalota Cash and I was captivated by that distinctive baritone from then on. I wish I met him, he seemed like a cool guy. Coincidentally, Luke passed away at the same age in similar fashion of another classic Churchill caller, Chic Anderson, 47, heart attack. RIP, Luke
Luke and I did the race replay show together. He was a consumate professional who made everyone around him seem to be a notch better at their job.

Luke was one of the greats. I worked with him in New Mexico and was proud to call him friend.

Forty-six seconds is all ESPN could spare?
What, was the work cutting into their blow-dry hair & make-up sessons?
God bless you Luke. A man among midgets.
