I believe in the supernatural, but a game like this is much scarier if it's kept in "our world", so to speak. It makes situations easier to relate to, and therefore scarier. It's like what Zero-Punctuation's Yahtzee said about Condemned's ending (which he loved), and how he didn't like Condemned 2 about halfway through (with "secret cults" and what not).

Also ethan REALLY looks different in the second game, on this 1 he looks like a wimpy fat chineese man, on the next game he looks like a pale american hobo who is pumped on steroids but its all natural, he is much tougher on condemned 2, on condemed 1 ethan is having trouble fighting 1 bad guy, on condemed 2 ethan can phycically bully guys on steroids!

the only difference is on the 360 version there are collectable x-box's which give you achievements at least I don't think you get the x-box's on the pc version
