@Luix136759 It's just all the air going into her kimono, as you see she's descending and displacing air. Previous posts explained it more adequately, but simply put; the air is being trapped in her clothes, and floating in the middle of a air stream doesn't really help disperse it, thus she looks bigger then usual.

No fucking way. When is this going to come out because i have no clue about the date other than it said in 2011. The action looks amazing and if this were to be an anime that would be best thing probably ever. All the danmaku battles, the characters, i dont know about the music though. This should really be on T.V. if it has a series. Touhou is just one of thoes video games that has to be a movie or a show for it.

@wraithtaker162 Yes, it does. The only reason ZUN (Touhou's author) refuses to make an official anime is because that'd drive people away from the games. Worse yet, we'd see a new "breed" of Touhou anime fans who never heard about the games before. And that would be Touhou's death.

C'mon people! That is obviously the wind and the force of gravity at work here. If you noticed in the animation, Yuyuko was floating downwards; I don't know if any of you have ever worn a skirt before, but when a strong gust of wind is blown upwards while wearing one, it get locked in, with no where else to go but circle around and then back down again, hence the poof upped look. Seriously, go look up Marilyn Monroe's famous skirt scene and see for yourselves. =.=

Yuyuko isn't fat. It's just the layers of her Kimono and under-garments making it look that way. Personally I think it looks elegant... but I really like the way they portrayed the stealing of spring~

I have to wonder if the quality would be anywhere near the same if they actually did turn one of these into a full length series. It's easy to put alot of efort into artwork and animation (or a game) when you're not expected to turn out a new installment within a specific deadline. This is one of the KEY reasons why Touhou is better off not going mainstream and I think ZUN knows that.

These short clips and teasers are still pretty cool on their own though.

This is just a music video. The anime that everyone is thinking of is made by a separate group called Maikaze. It is going to come out soon. Another was made by UFOtable, and it infringed on the specific rules that Zun made, also was made just for a cross-over.

That being said, Fantasy Kaleidoscope never dissapoints. Stellar animation and nice music choice.
