  • @tys346 HIGHLY doubt it. Plus, where and when did you hear that?

  • @Sebastian1011 its been made just highly glitchy so apples realised that holy shit they goona make it and give it away so apples making it for pc it will be released by 2012

  • @tys346 Apple's not going to waste their time making XCode for Windows Computers. Want XCode? Get a Mac.

  • @mrpetezya Haha, you cheap fart. Buy a Mac.

  • @mrpetezya Xcode is only available for the Mac OS X operating system. If you do not want to purchase a Mac, I'd recommend using ActionScript 3 and creating your app through Flash CS5+.

I cant double click mainmenu.xib nothing happends... please help pppplllleeeeaaassseee

  • @rhigosrebel do you have interface builder installed?

  • The URL bar does nothing for some reason, please help

  • i got something that says no editor what can i do about it ???

  • Can u tell me how to change the icon? Thanks!

  • @TheInternetGeek99 To change the icon you will need a 512X512 image. Then you will need to convert it to an icns file using Icon Composer. In the info.plist file you will then declare the name of your icon.

    Example icon.icns

  • Great Video man, but I am having the same problem when i get to the interface portion of your video. I double click "MainMenu.xib" nothing happens. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

  • ahh dude you rock. Ur like the only youtuber out their who explains things perfectly. Thanks so much.

  • i want to be able to download things

  • why is it so dark

  • Why does it work for you, once I finish the UI I file/build and go in XCODE and all I get is a damn blank window. WTF???? I am using a newer version of it by the way.

  • YOU don't even know what means to make a web browser from 0 ... you sir just drag ' n ' drop one allready made

  • @NeroSNT He's coding objective C dont you see??

Drag & Drop programming is quite cool :P thanks to Steve Jobs.

Yeah a real browser is another thing but I think this basic stuff is quite cool, shows how cool and fast xcode programming can be.

It's better than a visual basic web browser :P (and that costs you about 20 minuts and programming skills)

  • Thank you.

  • can you make the brower to load to a default url?

  • @tsitsosdmn Yes you can. In -(void)awakeFromNib

    Add your URL launching code.

  • cool

  • Hi I watched your youtube video on how to use Xcode for making iphone apps; I like your video and I think you are a good teacher and I am now trying to make my own iphone apps now; but I need your help. I would like to know how to make an iphone app like this. PLEASE TYPE IN YOUR IPHONE 'EGW FREE'

Please let me know how I can make this type of iphone app, I would be much happier if you did a video tutorial.

    Regards

    7appls1

  • is that web browser supporting flash player?

  • Do you use perl?

  • I wonder if they made Xcode in Xcode

  • @TheMonokono probably not, they made it in a lower level programming language

  • @TheMonokono Newer versions were probably updated in XCode, it would make sense.

  • @TheMonokono of course they didn't, because what would have made the original xcode

  • @chckenpie9 lol hes trolling

  • @TheMonokono nope.they actually had to do some coding

  • @TheMonokono You can build a Lazarus with Lazarus :P

  • @TheMonokono haha

  • @TheMonokono They probably made it in objective c. But they wouldnt need xcode as i know for a fact they don't use interface builder, so all they really need is photoshop, and text edit. :P

  • @TheMonokono Xcode is not a programming language, it is an IDE and therefore can't be used to make itself. Xcode was probably developed in C/C++ and then was ported over to Macintosh architecture. Assuming , though, that the language itself is a variation of C (Objective C) a low level programming language would be needed. Probably ASM. Machine code is just too boring for Apple.

  • @Nickolakis21aek You don't need XCode to make an Objective-C program. You can also just write it in texteditor and then compile it. This is probably what apple has done.

  • @MacProgrammar No way... It is just too noobish for Apple. They probably made an IDE for the purpose of building XCode...

  • @TheMonokono well they wouldnt coz it would already exsist

  • @TheMonokono What came first, the chicken or the egg. :)

  • @ross3141592 We actually now know that the chicken came first :P (seriously.)

  • @TheMonokono lol i dont think so cause there would be no xcode lol

  • @TheMonokono Yes they did.

  • @TheMonokono Thats a mystery .

  • How lazy development is that, no code written!!

    WINDOWS RULES!!!

  • @empireJJ Hate to burst your bubble there, but most coders like to be lazy and get the job done with as little code possible. Less bug squashing at the end.

  • @AstroGnomical True, but allowing Xcode to code for you, you will not be able to add any unique features to an Xcode program.

  • @empireJJ Well, if you want the unique features, you can code it yourself. But for a lot of things, you can just do that.

  • @empireJJ Windows has so many bugs because the programmers are under paid. That being said, I think less debugging is a worse kind of lazy than letting the machine do all the hard work... Oops, I forgot M$ Visual C++ does't even do that! M$ is evil, and there brainwashing you SNAP OUT IF IT!!

  • hey my dude howd u change ur finder logos colors

  • Comment removed

  • please help when i click build and run in xcode the appication starts that i created but its blank!!!! nothing just a blank window

  • @360tutorialsTV same here

  • Doesn't work can you remake this video

  • Nerd.. geek

  • Thanks for a simple explanation with interface-builder. I guess a few people don't realize that the OS X DVD has Xcode, or that to download the whole thing requires an ADC/time/patience (I think v3.1 was around 1.3gb for fresh install). Getting a version from the DVD is ok but make sure to do a software update!

  • instead of this you could use safari... no difference.... exept the interface

  • tnx dude, u where the only dude explaining u needed to make an apple developer account. no'1 else mentioned that,

  • Although that may be neat, it isn't programming.

  • Yaaay! Finally! Someone understand what I WANT!!! :D

  • Awesome! :D

  • dude u have too much apps in the dock its cool , im new to mac haha and its rly empty xD i duno what to install :D

  • Microsoft Visual basic 2008 is better bec i use Windows LOL

  • @JCDizon16 No...that's what most people have their docks like. And how did you change the window frames?

  • @JCDizon16 and i also know i like Vb 2010 it's better than Xcode because vb 2010 2008 it free

  • @JCDizon16 Do you even know what you are talking about? VB is for creating Windows applications. And Xcode is also free.

  • @JCDizon16 get Microsoft Visual C++
